Participants will enhance their skills while developing the character and mindset of a leader. At Five Star Academy, we bring the Laken James Basketball Experience directly to your community! Whether you're a school, club team, or youth organization, our team travels to your location to deliver a customized camp experience.

We work with all ages and are open to camp customizations. If you have a vision for your team/program we want to hear about it!

Kickoff Camp

This camp is the perfect way to energize athletes and ignite their passion for the upcoming season. This Fall camp is designed to build excitement, confidence, and a strong foundation to start the season on a high note.

Hoops for The Holidays

This annual camp is one of our FAVORITES. This camp is designed to be a way to give back to families in need around the holidays. FSA donates all proceeds to a nonprofit in the area. Have an organization close to your heart? Send us a message!

Sharpshooter Camp

A specialized camp dedicated to improving shooting technique, accuracy, and consistency. Athletes will learn advanced shooting mechanics, footwork, and decision-making to become unstoppable scorers.

Summer Slam Camp

Slamming all the fundaments into one awesome camp. We focus on mastering the essential building blocks of basketball. With an emphasis on shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense, this camp helps athletes develop confidence and leaves them hungry for more.

The Laken James Basketball Camp is a must for young female basketball players. Laken James has put together a one-of-a-kind basketball curriculum that covers important physical and tactical skill building AND female-specific mental skills training. It is important for young girls to understand the biological and emotional changes that occur with growing up. Laken has found a way to incorporate those vital lessons through the game of basketball and she is doing it by placing female leaders/role models right in front of the athletes. This camp is worth every penny for your young female athlete(s).
